Call of the Dead glitch?

Whenever I was playing CotD, I had the V-R11 at the time and I shot george with the MP40 by accident since there was literally a horde of zombies, and I switched to my V-R11 to calm him down. I was near the Ice Slide, and I shot him 3 times and went down the Ice Slide, but whenever I came down and George came down, George froze. He won't move, I tried shooting him to get him to move, but he won't budge. So, is this a glitch? It was so easy without George, I survived till Round 19 without George. PSN: Xeno_2013
