My CBR nose ring is stuck in my nose. I need to get it out. How?

I have a captive ball nose ring in my nose and it is stuck. I have taken the ball out, but the problem is the hole is too small and won't fit past my nostril to take it out. So what do I do? I have tried pliers and that has helped slightly but not enough, it has also caused bleeding though. So now i'm thinking vaseline to squeeze it out...and then in the morning go to the piercing studio. But has anyone got any tips now? Thanks....
