Help with a couple rx 7 questions?

I have a 1989 rx 7 and a couple of issues my cousin she got in it and locked the steering wheel I already tried turning the steering wheel hard and the key still won't budge. Also when I start it it backfire. and the battery drains at a rapid pace this all seemed to happen after clutch was replaced. Thanks in advance for the imput
