How to obtain depreciation from insurance company?

Seems like the adjuster just wants to know where the money was spent. It is not unusual for the insured to have non claim related work done and submit a final invoice with just a final dollar amount. I have no problems with the adjuster here, but a huge problem with the contractor. He is obligated to provide a detailed invoice. Report him to the contractors board if he wont comply. UNfortunately, you are stuck in the middle.
