How would you take apart a .270 rifle bullet?

I don't wn a bullet plier or anyone of those , but could you safely take out the projectile separating it from the gun powder and case? Has anyone ever done it? I understand that it makes the round useless , I just want to know how to do it . The rifle is a Remington .270 and the bullets are for it.
