Anybody have any good tips to having the perfect makeout?

So my boyfriend and I like to makeout. A lot. But I think we are both getting a little bored. We both are very strict about not having sex before marriage. Are there any ideas of creative ways to make a great makeout even better WITHOUT stirring strong sexual desires? I am not going to budge on that and I don't want to make it harder for us. But If the makeouts stay boring I'm scared we will go a little too far one time.. any ideas? And please no smart-a comments either. Thanks guys!
