How do you rip your toenail off?

I have an ingrown toenail and there's no way in hell that I'm going to the doctor. I have a job interview tomorrow and I don't have time to go to the doctor. I am deciding that I'm just going to rip it off. What is the easiest way to do this? I have a needle nose pliers.
