How can i protect myself against awful people discrtimination?

A lot of people give me weird looks or bad treatment too, possibly because I'm quite short and slightly chubby. Once my mom introduced me to her friend and the lady just gave a OMG facial expression. I tried to talk to her and she looked away and looked uncomfortable. Even on YA people are sometimes rude to me. It's just something you have to get used to, you have to adapt to it. Yes attractive people have it easier in life, they can get away with a lot, and try to assert their superiority by being nasty. But don't let them get away with making you feel bad.
